Cloudbet raise bet limits ahead of Super Bowl

LEADING online bitcoin sportsbook and casino Cloudbet has reacted to the fallen price of bitcoin, increasing their bet limits earlier this month.

And they are vowing to take on the big punters ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl with a once of deal allowing massive bets of the crypto currency.

Cloudbet say they have lifted the table limits to 10BTC on straight bets on their live dealer tables across blackjack, baccarat and roulette, and they have indicated the limits will not fall back when the price of bitcoin bounces back.

Cloudbet casinoThe bet limits on live lottery and Keno were doubled in the round of announcements, which also affects sports bettors.

Bet limits on major American and European soccer markets are set at 30BTC, which is around US $6500 as of Sunday morning, with the bitcoin price fluctuation currently at the lower end of the scale.

The prominent bitcoin sportsbook has also vowed to take on punters for Sunday’s Super Bowl to be held in America. The bookie is willing to show large punters signed bitcoin wallets containing over 1000 bitcoin to alleviate any worry about gambling big in bitcoin.

They are also willing to take on bets of up to $1000BTC for the Super Bowl which is being played between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. is giving all new customers up to 5BTC in welcome deposit bonuses, which is one of the larger deals available at a cryptocurrency casino & sportsbook.

Our take on the limit raise

It’s a welcome move in our opinion, the price of bitcoin is hovering around the US $220 mark, well down on the $1000 it has surpassed preivously. This means big punters have not really been able to bet big.

Hopefully the continued growth of bitcoin gambling will see these limits raised further in the coming months and years.
